How we teach

Frequently asked questions

Do I need IT experience to start?

No. CompTIA A+, CCNA, CCNA Cybersecurity and Cisco AI Technical Practitioner start from zero. Network+, Security+, SecAI+ and CCNA Automation build on earlier knowledge, and an advisor will recommend the right starting point.

What is CCNA v2.0, and should I wait for it?

CCNA v2.0 keeps the exam code 200-301, and the first test date is February 3, 2027 (v1.1 is available through February 2, 2027). Cisco's official v2.0 blueprint has five domains: Network Infrastructure and Connectivity (25%), Switching and Network Access (25%), IP Routing (20%), Network Services and Security (20%), and AI, and Network Operations and Management (10%). It puts more weight on troubleshooting and adds topics such as hypervisors and containers, CDP/LLDP, VRRP, TACACS+/RADIUS, SFTP/SCP, IPsec VPNs, agentic AI and prompting. Our advisors help you choose the right version based on your test date.

What happened to DevNet Associate and CyberOps Associate?

Cisco renamed DevNet Associate to CCNA Automation (exam 200-901 CCNAAUTO) and CyberOps Associate to CCNA Cybersecurity (exam 200-201 CCNACBR). Our courses follow the current exam topics.

What does each lecture include?

Every lecture has a live instructor-led class, detailed self-study notes, a hands-on lab in our in-browser Cisco CLI simulator (graded like an exam simulation), and a timed 10-question quiz written in Cisco exam style.

What if I miss a live class?

Every session is recorded and posted to your student portal within 24 hours, alongside the notes, lab and quiz for that lecture.

Is the exam voucher included?

Exam vouchers are purchased separately from the exam vendor (Cisco, CompTIA, Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet) or its testing partner. We guide you through booking your exam online or at a US test center.

What equipment do I need?

Just a laptop or desktop with a modern browser. All labs run in the browser, so there is no hardware to buy and nothing to install.
